The purpose of a blog

I have been learning about the purpose of a blog post. I know that the purpose of a blog post is to share, teach others, get feedback and feed forward.

Amazing Book Club

Have you ever been in a book club?

I am going to tell you about it.

A book club is when you pick a book and then you have to work with the group for a set amount of days. In book clubs you have to work as a team and fill in your ticket and then fill in the jobs in the book lite.

I am reading the Journey to Tangi Wai. This book is about a boy that hates diaries but still writes one of his own. This boy talks about his life and his families life.

My favorite part so far in the book is when the uncle slammed his hand on the table and yelled at the T.V.

We have been making a logo and this is my one up there ^, my logo has a frisbee and a person that catching a frisbee.

Make someone smile by writing a good comment.

W.A.L.T write a good comment that makes others feel good.

first we made a draft comment. Then we used our planning document to create our plan. We did this in pairs. My parther was Zyah. 

While making the plan we used shapes and images. Then we used comix to create our comic plan shaped our work.

I really liked how you could add lots of of things to the comic. it was cool that you could choose funny people. the hard bit we sizing the shapes. you should have a go with comic.

my dream room

Today i designed my dream room. Then I figured out the area and perimeter of all the items in my room.

Area is the space inside a shape.

To find areayou times length and width.

The area is alwas done in square units.

Here is and example of how to find the area of a rectangle.

Have you tried finding the area of a shape before? maybe you could try this formula.

The Heiry Monster Under My Bed

This is my story that I made. It took me 2 days to do it and I hope you like it and commit if you think I need  more work on it!!

And My success criteria is I used a descriptive kupu and I had to edit my writing as wail.What I enjoyed was making the storyboard and what I find challenging was to think of the rest of the story.

No one believes me. They think I'm lying. But it's true there's a big hairy monster living under my bed. and I can prove it. I can feel my bed moving and I could hear claws scratching on my floor. When I heard the scratching on my floor I was scared like a cat. When the light Went out I cried. But my mum didn't hear me so I went under my Covers And screamed. then my mum heard me she ran into my room And when my mum came into my room the monster was gone and I told my mum all about it. She didn't believe me. She said “it is just a dream” I said “can you leave the lights on please” When my mum left the room the monster came out of my bed and it was a singly monster. Whenever I was sad or scared the monster would come out and snugly me or make me Laugh.

The Amazing Hut

WALT: I am learning to make a bigger hut.

This post is about making my hut bigger so Bob and I could have lunch inside it.

I built the hut bigger by using more things like 3 brooms, 1 big post, 6 chairs, 1 ladder, and 4 blankets. My hut kept blowing over so I tacked the blankets under the chairs. Making the hut bigger was challenging but I still did it. We got to eat lunch in the big hut and we loved it!❤

on the day before ANZAC day we went for a walk on ANZAC Dr and saw the Poppies Over Gallipoli. Dad read the poem to me. my Brother went around the the poppies. Poppies are in portent because they grow around the men that died in Gallipoli.

My dad and I made ANZAC Biscuits on ANZAC day because the wives and mum's made these biscuits for the solders in Gallipoli. They made the biscuits out of oats and flour and golden syrup because these ingredients last for a long time.

No Drinks Near The Chromebook!!!

In my class we are learning how to protect our chromebook and we made an animation about protecting your chromebooks. My animation tells about don't leave your drinks and food near your chromebook. 

I found the animating easy.
