This week i have been working on making a portrait of me. I had to do a digital portrait and it was pretty hard. I had to make a slide of my portrait and all the hobbies that i have interest in around it.

Year 6 Waipara Camp 2021

on wednesday the year 6's went on a bus to a lake we had to walk through a lake to get to camp. The lake was so cold that my feet went num when we got to camp we sat down to eat so lunch. when we finished our lunch we went to our cabins and we were not alowed to take our wet shoes in the cabins. we set up our cabins by making our beds and doing our close. for activity one i did kayaking, we went down a really dip lake and then we went to the main place to do games i fall in the water from standing up on the kayak for free-time. for activity two i did water-slide, the water was so so cold and the water-slide was really steep. for activity three we did raft building raft building was so fun but hard to because we just got a floatie and planks and string. for activity four i did sky-sailing sky sailing was so scary because it was 35 foot and i picked the fast way down and it felt like a bungee jump. for activity five i did balancing balancing was so hard because you had to walk across a rope. for activity six i did air rifile and i shot a can over and the gun was really loud. for activity seven i did achrie and i shot i balls eye.

 Today we didn't have a timetable.

We chose what kaupapa we studied and when we would study it.

I really liked choosing the kaupapa because you can start easy or you can start hard or in the middle.

I didn't like finishing everything that is on the list in one block.

If we get to do this again, i would like to do reading and math for the rest of the day.

this week i have been making a karakia. the karakia is aio ki te aorangi it is a end of the day karakia.  its a sign language slides and i hope this teaches you the karakia.  this is the slides....
