Awesome area

I have been learning how to find the area of shapes.

Area is the space inside a shape.

To find areayou times length and width.

The area is alwas done in square units.

Here is and example of how to find the area of a rectangle.

Have you tried finding the area of a shape before? maybe you could try this formula.

    Well done Jas! Maybe we can use Dad's measuring tape at home and find out the area of our windows or doors?
